Eric Devendorf’s ED23 Foundation to host 6th Annual Turkey Drive

SYRACUSE, NY – Former Syracuse Orange basketball player Eric Devendorf’s charity ED23 Foundation has partnered with Empire Orange Publishing and The Hart and Tay Train Foundation for the 6th annual Syracuse Community Turkey Drive. Each year nearly 300 families benefit from this event. This year the goal is to help 450 local families.

Eric says “Syracuse gave me much more than a place to play basketball. It gifted me a family, a community that stood by me through thick and thin. Giving back isn’t just an act; it’s a responsibility. I’ve felt the warmth of this community, and now it’s my turn to help as many people as I can.”

But before the giving can start, we need help from the community. Non-perishable foods can be dropped off to one of our convenient locations: The MOST, Pastime Athletic Club, Elite Wealth Management, EDGE gym, SCSD Central Offices, That Hair Place, and Pavone’s Pizza. Items we are looking for: Gravy Mix, Stuffing, Vegetables, Cornbread Mix and Rolls.

Families in need can come and pick up Thanksgiving meals on Saturday, November 18th, 2023 from 12:00-3:00p. Pick up is at the Boys & Girls Club, 212 Van Buren Street St. Syracuse, NY 13204.

Media is invited to attend the event from 11:30-1:00 pm. To book Live interviews with Eric Devendorf ahead of the event and to discuss the recent announcement of the ED23 Foundation events contact Serena Romero at (315) 503-8708 or email at Serena@Tangosquared.com.
