At the ED23 Foundation, we envision a brighter future for underprivileged youth not only in the Syracuse community but across the United States.
Our mission is to equip these young individuals with the essential skills for personal growth. The goal is to empower them to not only overcome all life’s obstacles but to thrive.
Too often, promising talents within disadvantaged communities remain untapped due to the absence of programs that effectively blend sports training with vital leadership education. We aim to bridge this gap, ensuring that tomorrow’s stars not only navigate adversity but also reap the rewards of hard work, healthy habits, relentless effort, determination, and unyielding drive.

Eric Devendorf & ED23
Eric Devendorf is a former professional basketball player with a passionate commitment to mentoring and coaching youth, high school, college, and professional basketball players. He is the CEO/Founder of ED23 Foundation and Owner of ED23Hoop.
In August 2019, fueled by a deep desire to give back to the community that had embraced him throughout his career, Eric Devendorf embarked on a new chapter by establishing ED23Hoops. This endeavor encompasses a wide range of basketball initiatives, including camps, clinics, personalized one-on-one training sessions, and the creation of a thriving AAU league. Beyond the basketball court, through the non-profit ED23 Foundation, Eric is committed to making a positive impact on the Syracuse community through charitable endeavors, including shoe and coat drives, back-to-school events, turkey dinner giveaways, and more.
