SYRACUSE, NY – Former professional basketball player and community leader Eric Devendorf is proud to announce the launch of the ED23 Foundation, a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to the growth and development of underprivileged youth through sports, education, and empowerment initiatives. This effort builds on the success of Devendorf’s ED23Hoops, which began making an impact on and off the basketball court in August 2019.
Eric Devendorf, the foundation’s CEO/Founder, says “The game of basketball has given me so much – it’s taken me places I’d never dreamed of. At the ED23 Foundation, our values are deeply rooted in the strong connections I’ve forged in the communities I’ve called home. In Syracuse, I’ve experienced the warmth and support of families that have stood by my side through thick and thin. We’re here to guide these young players to be leaders, winners, and community change-makers, on the court and in life.”
